This adventurous day trip takes you to the second biggest canyon in the world – the Tara river canyon in Montenegro. Google some photos right now, you won't believe how beautiful and awesome this place is. Google it!
Okay now we can explain the day. It should take us about 3 hours to get there and then we have a few hours of some incredible rafting ahead of us. How does it work? Well, first of all there is no need to have experience prior to taking the tour. It is rather easy, unless you wish to have little more battle with the river – just let us know. This one lasts around 5 hours, takes 22 km and at the end you will conquer 23 sparkling rapids. By the way you will start your rafting tour in Montenegro – river called Tara and end in in Bosnia and Herzegovina – river called Drina – two different countries, two different rivers, one day!
Depending on the time of the year you wish to explore Tara River, you will either have adventures quick ride or smooth stroll down this turquoise river.
“People don’t take trips, trips take people.” -John Steinbeck
While descending there will be several breaks for you to jump in the water and swim, take photos, jump from a cliff and in the end just lay back and listen to the waterfall. This is quite an exhausting activity and after we get ourselves dry and warm again we'll have a stop for some nice traditional lunch. Eat as much as you can because with one hour of rowing you have burned around 300 calories.
The guides will give you a little present at the end – your own GoPro picture from the experience. Feel free to scream all the way jumping on the rapids, no one besides your company in the raft will hear you, by the way.. they will be screaming too.
